Culture Day Jointly Celebrated By CCCNIG and HHH Foundation School

On Feb. 29, the Culture Day celebration was jointly held by China Cultural Center in Nigeria (CCCNIG) and HHH Foundation School in Abuja . Mr. Liu Zhanping (Deputy Director of CCCNIG), Ms. Qin Fangfang, Mrs.Chen Huiling, teachers and students were present.

CCCNIG’s participation made the event more colorful through cultural displays, cultural performances, interactive games and other activities. Through pictures and videos, all teachers, students and their parents got to know and understand more about Chinese traditional culture and its modern life. They were very curious about the safe, prosperous and happy life of modern Chinese people, and also wanted to find out how the Chinese people made their dreams come true.

Lots of people stood in front of the tea table. More and more Nigerians love Chinese tea and have a deeper understanding of Chinese tea culture. Besides, Chinese characters aroused their interest. Qin Fangfang taught students how to write Chinese characters step by step.

In the cultural performance section, Chinese martial arts performed by students from the language class of the CCCNIG attracted many audiences who became interested in Chinese culture through "Kung Fu". The Chinese dance combines the power of martial with the softness and flexibility of Chinese dance, were highly praised.

In the part of the interactive game, the number delivery game combined Chinese teaching and game competition. Before the competition, Ms. Qin Fangfang taught students some simple Chinese expressions. The teenagers experienced unique Chinese culture and had lots of fun during the celebration.
