In recent years, Gaoqi Border Inspection Station has thoroughly implemented the "CPC Central Committee and State Council's Opinions on Supporting Fujian's Exploration of New Paths for Cross-Strait Integration and Development and Building a Cross-Strait Integration and Development Demonstration Zone." The Station has continuously optimized and promoted its "Tongxin" (United Hearts) cultural brand, working tirelessly to establish a "first homeland" and "first stop" for Taiwan compatriots and enterprises landing in the area.

Through innovative "Border Inspection + Cultural Tourism" initiatives, the Station has created a "Tongxin Cultural Zone" at the Wutong Ferry Terminal border checkpoint, featuring a "Tongxin" check-in message wall that gathers heartfelt voices from people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

By advancing "Border Inspection + Technology" solutions, the Station has independently developed portable mobile data collection and registration devices, offering "door-to-door" data collection and registration services for Taiwan residents in Xiamen.

Through deepening "Border Inspection + Services," the Station pioneered the "12367 Minnan Dialect" offline service platform, providing full-process guidance in the local dialect for Taiwanese compatriots, and establishing a "green channel" for life-saving assistance to facilitate urgent medical return trips for ill Taiwanese patients.
