2023年“华创会”襄阳新能源汽车专场邀请函（中英文版）

中央海外高层次人才引进工作小组指导、湖北省人民政府、国务院侨务办公室、武汉市人民政府共同主办的华侨华人创业发展洽谈会（简称“华创会”），经各方共同努力，取得了丰硕成果，受到海外华侨华人的欢迎，得到社会各界的充分肯定。自2001年以来已连续举办二十二届，第23届“华创会”定于今年11月举办。

Under the guidance of the Central Overseas High-level Talent Introduction Working Group and co-sponsored by the Hubei Provincial People’s Government, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, and the Wuhan Municipal People’s Government, the Conference on Overseas Chinese Pioneering and Developing in China (hereinafter referred to as "COCPD") has achieved fruitful outcomes, received warm reception from overseas Chinese, and obtained full recognition from all sectors of society. It has been held for 22 consecutive sessions since 2001, and the 23rd COCPD is scheduled to be held in November this year.

襄阳是国家确定的中部地区重点城市、汉江流域中心城市和重点支持的省域副中心城市。作为“华侨华人创业发展洽谈会”系列专场活动之一，襄阳市人民政府定于11月17日-19日在襄阳市举办“2023年华侨华人创业发展洽谈会襄阳新能源汽车专场”活动。本次专场活动以“万侨结同心，共启新征程”为主题，主要活动有主体大会、产业合作对接洽谈、人才创新创业对接洽谈、考察襄阳产业发展等。

Xiangyang is a key city in central China, a central city in the Hanjiang River Basin, and a provincial sub-central city supported by the state. The Xiangyang Municipal People’s Government will hold the 2023 COCPD Xiangyang New Energy Vehicle Special Event, one of the special events of the COCPD, in Xiangyang from November 17 to 19. With the theme "Thousands of Overseas Chinese Work Together to Embark on a New Journey", this special event mainly includes the Keynote Conference, Industrial Cooperation Matchmaking Negotiation, Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Matchmaking Negotiation, and investigation of Xiangyang’s industrial development.

1.海外商协会及企业代表：世界500强企业、外国商协会和外国高科技公司代表等。有意愿与襄阳开展交流合作者优先。

1.Representatives of overseas business associations and enterprises: Representatives from Fortune Global 500 companies, foreign business associations, and foreign high-tech companies. Preference will be given to those who are willing to engage in exchanges and cooperation with Xiangyang.

2.侨商侨胞代表：海外知名侨商，海外华侨华人商协会、社团负责人以及知名华人华侨等。

2.Representatives of overseas Chinese businessmen and overseas Chinese: Well-known overseas Chinese businessmen, leaders of overseas Chinese business associations and organizations, renowned Chinese immigrants and overseas Chinese.

3.华侨华人专业人士：本科毕业并有5年以上工作经历，硕士毕业并有3年以上工作经历，博士毕业并有2年以上工作经历；拥有襄阳所需的专业技术特长、有意愿来襄阳创业就业或与襄阳市开展交流合作者优先。

Overseas Chinese professionals: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of work experience, Master’s degree and a minimum of three years of work experience, Doctoral degree and a minimum of two years of work experience. Priority will be given to those who possess the professional technical expertise required by Xiangyang and are willing to start a business or engage in exchanges and cooperation with Xiangyang City.

4.新能源汽车行业企业代表：海内外新能源汽车生产制造、汽车零配件、新能源电池、汽车网联行业企业代表等。

襄阳地处湖北省西北部、长江最大支流汉水中游，是国家确定的中部地区重点城市、汉江流域中心城市和省域副中心城市。现辖枣阳、宜城、老河口3个市，南漳、保康、谷城3个县，襄城、樊城、襄州3个区，襄阳高新区、襄阳经开区（东津新区）2个国家级开发区和鱼梁洲省级开发区。全市版图面积1.97万平方公里，常住人口527.1万人。

Xiangyang is situated in the northwest of Hubei Province and the middle reaches of the Hanjiang River, which is the largest tributary of the Yangtze River. It is a key city in central China, a central city in the Hanjiang River Basin, and a provincial sub-central city recognized by the state. Currently, it has administrative jurisdiction over three cities (Zaoyang, Yicheng, and Laohekou), three counties (Nanzhang, Baokang, and Gucheng), three districts (Xiangcheng, Fancheng, and Xiangzhou), two national level development zones (Xiangyang High-tech Zone, Xiangyang Economic Development Zone (Dongjin New Area), and Yuliangzhou Provincial Development Zone. The city spans an area of 19,700 square kilometers and has a permanent resident population of 5.271 million.

襄阳历史悠久、底蕴深厚，有着2800余年建城史，是国家历史文化名城、楚文化发源地、汉水文化核心区和三国文化之乡，素有“铁打的襄阳”“天下第一城池”的美誉。

Xiangyang has a long and profound history of over 2,800 years. It is a nationally renowned historical and cultural city, the birthplace of Chu culture, the core area of Hanjiang River culture, and the hometown of Three Kingdoms culture, hailed as the "Cast-iron Xiangyang" and "The First City in the World".

襄阳区位优越、得“中”独厚，是全国性综合交通枢纽城市、国家物流枢纽承载城市、全国铁路枢纽城市，自古就是“南船北马、七省通衢”，是联通南北的咽喉和重要通道。

Xiangyang is a national comprehensive transportation hub city, a national logistics hub city, and a national railway hub city with excellent centered location. Since ancient times, it has been known as the "thoroughfare of seven provinces", and serves as a vital and crucial passage connecting the north and south.

襄阳气候宜人、生态宜居，是山水城市的典型代表，金庸先生称赞襄阳“一江碧水穿城过，十里青山半入城”。

Xiangyang boasts a delightful climate and offers a sustainable living environment, establishing itself as an exemplary landscape city. Mr. Jin Yong commended Xiangyang as "a city blessed with a lucid river flowing through it and lush mountains embracing it halfway".

襄阳产业发达、特色鲜明，已形成以汽车产业为龙头，装备制造、电子信息、医药化工、新能源汽车、新能源新材料、农产品加工为支柱的现代产业体系，拥有国家新型工业化（新能源汽车）产业示范基地、国家新能源汽车示范推广城市、国家智能网联汽车质量监督检验中心、国家动力电池产品质量监督检验中心等多张“国牌”。

Xiangyang has developed industries with distinctive characteristics and boasts a modern industrial system led by the automotive industry, with equipment manufacturing, electronic information, pharmaceutical and chemical engineering, new energy vehicles, new energy and materials, and agricultural product processing as the pillars. It has several "national brands" such as the National Demonstration Base for New Industrialization (New Energy Vehicle), the National Demonstration and Promotion City for New Energy Vehicles, the National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Intelligent Connected Vehicles, and the National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Power Battery Products.

襄阳物产丰富、优势突出，是我国十大夏粮主产区、国家20个大型商品粮基地之一，是湖北省唯一的百亿斤粮食产能大市，盛产170多种中药材，拥有湖北最多的非处方药品种和全省最大的小针剂生产基地。

Xiangyang is abundant in natural resources and boasts exceptional advantages. It is one of China’s top ten major summer grain producing regions and is among the 20 large-scale commercial grain bases nationwide. Moreover, it stands as the sole city in Hubei Province with a grain production capacity of five billion kg. The region thrives in over 170 varieties of traditional Chinese medicinal materials, holding the highest number of over-the-counter medicine species in Hubei Province, as well as the largest small injection production base in the province.

襄阳活力迸发、前景广阔，2022年实现地区生产总值5827.8亿元，首次跻身中部地区非省会城市第一位，居全国城市经济实力50强第45位。

Xiangyang exudes vitality and has promising prospects. In 2022, its GDP reached RMB 582.78 billion, placing it first among non-provincial capital cities in central China and 45th among the top 50 cities in terms of economic strength in the country.
