Jing (Beijing) Lu (Xiamen) Tai (Taiwan): Three Places, One Name, A First-of-Its-Kind Sci-Tech Base of the City

how will the three places arrange into one name?

The answer comes from Huli District's new base for Taiwan youth

which is named

Jing (Beijing) Lu (Xiamen) Tai (Taiwan) Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Sci-tech Base.

This Base integrates the unique resources of all three locations,

marking it as Xiamen's first hub focused on the sci-tech industry for Taiwan youth.

On the morning of May 7,

the Base was officially inaugurated.

As a service platform for Taiwan youth in innovation and entrepreneurship, the Jing Lu Tai Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Sci-tech Base will leverage the geographical advantages of Huli District to focus on industries such as next-generation information technology, artificial intelligence, low-altitude economy, new energy and materials, and biotechnology. It will provide a comprehensive service system for young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, covering "space incubation, capital empowerment, policy support, and activity exchange."

With this belief, Xu Chengxuan from Tainan has brought his eye-care device startup project to Xiamen and become one of the first Taiwan youth entrepreneurs to settle in the Base. "We chose this place precisely because Huli District offers the right mix of culture, environment, and supportive policies," Xu explained.

"Through preliminary market research, we've found that the potential of the mainland market is remarkably promising," he said. With this confidence, his self-developed products are scheduled for mass production by the end of this year, with further market expansion supported by the base.

Since launching in February 2025, the Base has attracted over 10 high-quality Taiwanese science and technology projects and housed more than 20 young Taiwanese entrepreneurs.

Deeply engaged in Xiamen for many years,

the Chairman of the Taiwan Artificial Intelligence Development Association,

Xu Guansheng,

has also established

the Association's first liaison office here,

choosing the Base as its home.

Backed by tech giants from Zhongguancun and drawing on the favorable business environment and Taiwan-friendly policies of Huli District, Xu hopes to capitalize on these multiple advantages. Through the Association, he aims to facilitate connections in various technological fields, such as intelligent manufacturing, smart farming, and smart home systems, enabling more Taiwanese talent and technology to take root in Huli and expand to more cities.

Developed by the ZGC Information Valley team, the Jing (Beijing) Lu (Xiamen) Tai (Taiwan) Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Sci-tech Base, taps into Beijing's innovation resources and Xiamen's strategic location to attract young entrepreneurs from Taiwan to Xiamen, promoting in-depth cooperation between cross-strait youth in innovation and entrepreneurship.
