联合国工发组织“创新思维与技术应对新冠疫情”全球倡议公布获奖项目名单

由联合国工业发展组织全球投资与技术促进办公室网络（UNIDO ITPO Network）发起的“创新思维与技术应对新冠疫情”全球倡议获奖项目名单于2020年7月14日的线上颁奖仪式上揭晓。

来自5大洲108个国家的1100多个创新项目参与了全球倡议，该倡议成功地在全球范围内推广了创新解决方案和可扩展技术，以帮助发展中国家应对破坏性的卫生危机和当前新冠疫情带来的深远社会经济影响。

根据内部和外部专家组成的评审团的投票，确定了全球倡议四个战略类别的获胜者。由于评审团投票数接近，突发卫生事件应对类别下确定了两名优胜者，其他三个类别各确定了一名获胜者，获奖项目如下：

联合国工发组织执行干事Bernardo Calzadilla-Sarmiento在颁奖仪式上致开幕词：“工发组织正在加紧努力，并与成员国和联合国其他机构合作，支持发展中国家应对危机，之后更好地进行复原，通过包容和可持续的工业发展建设更平等、可持续以及有弹性的经济”。

颁奖仪式由工发组织意大利投资和技术促进办公室主任Diana Battaggia主持，工发组织上海投资和技术促进办公室主任赵晓蕾以及德国投资和技术促进办公室主任Rolf Steltemeier宣布了每个类别的获奖项目。获奖代表分别在线上展示了他们的项目。

为最大程度上宣传获奖方案并支持建立国际伙伴关系，工发组织将通过其投资和技术促进网络向全球呼吁的获奖者提供咨询和指导服务，并有机会在意大利2020年欧洲科学开放论坛，以及2021年迪拜世博会上进行项目展示。

工发组织投资与技术促进网络秘书处协调员、投资与技术促进处处长龚维希指出：“通过全球倡议获得的解决方案为应对新冠疫情提供了机会。我们需要以可再生能源、可持续粮食系统、性别平等、更强大的社会安全网络以及更加可持续的消费和生产方式为目标，以可持续发展议程为指导，在国际体系中坚持并广泛地开展行动”。

VIENNA, 14 July 2020 – The winners of the Global Call for“Innovative Ideas and Technologies vs. COVID-19 and beyond” organized by theUnited Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) were announcedduring the concluding Award Ceremony, held in live streaming on 14 July 2020.

Through the 1100 applications submitted from 108 countriesfrom around the world, the initiative successfully identified innovativesolutions and scalable technologies worldwide to assist developing countries intackling the disruptive sanitary crisis and the far-reaching socio-economiceffects of the current COVID-19 pandemic.

The winners of the four strategic categories of the GlobalCall were identified based on the vote of a jury comprised of internal andexternal experts. Due to the close vote from the jury, two winners wereidentified for the Health Emergency category, while one winner was identifiedfor each of the other three categories as follows:

The Award Ceremony was opened by BernardoCalzadilla-Sarmiento, Managing Director, Directorate of Digitalization,Technology and Agri-business, informing that “UNIDO is stepping up its effortsand working with its Member States and other UN agencies to support developingcountries to first respond to the crisis, and then recover better, buildingmore equal, sustainable and resilient economies through Inclusive andSustainable Industrial Development”.

The Award Ceremony was moderated by Diana Battaggia, Head ofUNIDO Investment and Technology Promotion Office (ITPO) Italy, and the winnersper category were introduced by Xiaolei Zhao, Head of UNIDO ITPO Shanghai andRolf Steltemeier, Head of UNIDO ITPO Germany. Representatives from theidentified proposals per category were offered the opportunity to present theirproposals in front of the live audience.

To maximize visibility to the awarded proposals and supportthe conclusion of international partnerships, UNIDO will provide the winners ofthe Global Call with advisory and mentorship services through its ITPOs, aswell as with the opportunity to showcase their innovative solutions on theoccasion of the upcoming EuroScience Open Forum 2020 (ESOF2020) and Expo Dubai2021.

During his closing remarks, Weixi Gong, Chief, Investmentand Technology Promotion Division, ITP Network Secretariat Coordinator,commented that the solutions identified through the Global Call offer anopportunity in view of recovering from the current COVID-19 crisis. “Instead ofgoing back to unsustainable systems and approaches, we need to move towardsrenewable energy, sustainable food systems, gender equality, stronger socialsafety nets, and more sustainable consumption and production patterns in aninternational system that can deliver consistently and universally – with theSustainable Development Agenda as our guide”.
