澳洲福建乡情联谊会“SHARING THE SAME MOON Art Exhibition 千里共婵娟画展”

澳洲福建乡情联谊会曾经多次为活跃华人社区文化艺术活动、促进澳中文化艺术交流以及提升澳中艺术家的创作价值，在澳洲和中国举办高层次的书画艺术展览，其中具有重要纪念意义是2017年在中国福建省博物馆，为庆祝塔斯马尼亚省和福建省35年友谊的文化艺术交流展览。这届展览是由塔斯马尼亚艺术部部长率领澳洲艺术家到福建博物馆所举办，许多著名的中国艺术家和澳洲艺术家应邀参展。

这一次我们澳洲福建乡情联谊会文化中心悉尼分部联合澳大利亚国家教育中心将主办一次“中西艺术交流画展”。此次展览地点位于具有非常浓郁艺术氛围的内西区Summer Hill，展览场地总面积高达2000平方米。届时会有隆重的开幕式、闭幕式以及展出作品图册等精美资料发布。

此次“中西艺术交流画展”定能展现人类对和谐和健康幸福生活的愿望，特别是通过艺术对中澳友好关系的诉求和愿望。

澳洲福建乡情联谊会（AUSTRALIAN FUJIAN ASSOCIATION）在新州终于迎来Covid-19疫情封城初步解封之际在举办了一场期待已久的高水准的本地艺术家画展--“SHARING THE SAME MOON Art Exhibition 千里共婵娟画展”，实体画作在位于内西区核心位置的Summer Hill澳洲福建乡情联谊会会所展出，澳洲福建乡情联谊会同期举办视觉效果精美的线上画展（网址：www.sharingthemoon.com）。参展的艺术家中有多位是艺术修养高超并享负盛名的艺术名家：

澳洲福建乡情联谊会（AUSTRALIAN FUJIAN ASSOCIATION）原定于7月份举办这次画展，后由于疫情封城被迫取消。

同步还为下一代艺术家的发掘和激励，举办澳洲青年画家画展以及少年绘画作品比赛。

我们期待本次画展取得圆满成功，有理由确信本地热爱艺术的澳华人士的追捧和好评。

2021广州国际友城大学联盟城市创新创业竞赛

由广州国际友城大学联盟主办的第二届城市创新创业大赛于2021年3月至11月举行。

在广州市人民政府的支持下，广州国际友好城市大学联盟（GISU）的使命是吸引和利用其成员的学术资源，密切合作，促进我们城市的可持续发展。目前GISU联盟的13所成员大学代表12个国家，友好城市总人口超过3400万。共有近 400,000 名和36,000 名教职员工，GISU联盟多样化的学术课程和研究能力代表了世界上最好的大学联盟。

今年的学生竞赛以 UNSDG（联合国可持续发展目标）为中心，特别关注创新、多学科和有影响力的概念，包括创业和创新。大赛主题为以科技创新促进城市可持续发展。以此为主题，欢迎各类创新创业相关项目。以科技创新促进城市可持续发展为基本思路，统筹考虑各城市经济社会发展的战略目标。成员之一的西悉尼大学为今年的主办单位。

决赛将于 11 月 9 日（周二）以线上线下混合模式举行，由西悉尼大学 Parramatta 城市校区主办。经过了整年的校内比赛和半决赛，12支入围决赛队伍，从6个国家的7个联盟成员中挑选出。

捐赠日支持中医药 (12月1日)：澳大利亚综合健康的重要组成部分

今年西悉尼大学的捐赠日活动，已经如火如荼的拉开了序幕。其中募款的主要方向是由西悉尼大学校长葛班尼教授带领支持的中医药与西医的整合健康医疗发展。这个是一个非常明确、定向支持中医药在澳大利亚发展并迈向和西医结合具有伟大且深远意义的项目。所得捐赠将支持大学在中医药的临床科研项目，教学，社区服务，专业培训，和门诊服务等五大方向。西悉尼大学与中国第一流的北京中医药大学在悉尼共同建立的中澳中医中心，做出了大量的工作，也开始有显著的成果。例如中医中心与新州最大的公立利物浦医院建立了南半球中西结合肿瘤研究联盟开展一系列临床科研活动。我们有信心在澳大利亚引领中医的教育科研和社区活动旗舰作用。西悉尼大学针对为中医药在澳洲发展的远景是非常令人振奋的。透过西悉尼大学募款日的活动，和我们一起共同筑建中医药在澳大利亚的远大目标，为人类健康服务！

The Fujian Association Art and Culture Centre, Sydney, in collaboration with the Australian National Education Institute cordially invites you to participate in the upcoming art exhibition ‘Sharing the same moon, 千里共婵娟’ ( official online opening is from today 4th of November 2021)

This exhibition will be held at Fujian Art and Culture Centre, a subsidiary of the Australian Fujian Association, with a total exhibition area of 2000 square meters located in Summer Hill, Sydney. There will opening and closing ceremonies attended by artists, dignitaries, distinguished members of Chinese Australian community, as well as talks and other featured events. The exhibition and activities will be broadcast in both international and local media and published in book form.

The Australian Fujian Association has previously held many high level art events both in China and Australia, including the 2017 joint Chinese-Australian exhibition at the Fujian Museum, led by the Tasmanian Minister of Arts to celebrate the 35-year friendship between Tasmania and the Fujian Province. We sincerely look forward and hope to bring together, through art, the sharing of culture and friendship, harmony and happiness of all the people in the world, specialy between china and Australia.

GUANGZHOU INTERNATIONAL SISTER-CITY UNIVERSITIES (GISU) 2021 URBAN INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP COMPETITION

The second Urban Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition hosted by the Alliance of Guangzhou International Sister-City Universities will be held from March to November 2021.

Supported by the People's Government of the Guangzhou Municipality, the mission of Alliance of Guangzhou International Sister-City Universities (GISU) is to attract and leverage the academic resources of its members in close collaboration for the sustainable development of our cities. GISU's current 13 member universities represent 12 countries and a total population of over 34 million people in the sister cities. With a combined student enrolment of almost 400,000 and 36,000 faculty and academic staff, GISU's great diversity of academic programs and research capacity represent the best of the world.

This year's student competition centres around UNSDG's (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals) with a specific focus on innovation, multidisciplinary and impactful concepts to include entrepreneurship and innovation. The theme of the competition is Promoting Sustainable Urban Development with Scientific and Technological Innovation. Based upon this theme, various types of innovation and entrepreneurship-related projects are welcome. Strategic goals of each city's economic and social development should be considered with the basic idea of promoting sustainable urban development through scientific and technological innovation. Western Sydney University, a founding member of GISU is the host of this year’s competition.

The final competition will be held in a hybrid mode and hosted by Western Sydney University’s Parramatta City Campus on Tuesday 9th November. 12 finalist teams from 7 members of the Alliance across 6 countries have been selected through the in-school competition and semi-final competition conducted during the year.

SUPPORTING CHINESE MEDICINE ON GIVING DAY (1 DECEMBER): A VITAL PART OF INTEGRATIVE HEALTH IN AUSTRALIA

This year, Western Sydney University's Donation Day activities have kicked off in full swing. One of the fundraising objectives is to support integrative medicine, particularly traditional Chinese medicine led by the Vice-Chancellor and President of Western Sydney University, Professor Barney Glover AO. This is a very clear and directional support project of great and far-reaching significance for the development of Chinese medicine in Australia and its integration with Western medicine.

The donations will support the University's five major directions in Chinese medicine covering clinical research projects, teaching, community services, professional training, and outpatient services. The Chinese Medicine Centre jointly established by Western Sydney University and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, China's top-tier university in traditional Chinese medicine, has done a lot of work and has begun to produce remarkable results.

For example, the Chinese Medicine Centre and Liverpool Hospital in NSW established the Southern Hemisphere Integrated Chinese and Western Cancer Research Alliance to carry out a series of clinical scientific research activities. We are confident to lead the flagship role of Chinese medicine in education, scientific research and community activities in Australia. The vision of Western Sydney University for the development of Chinese medicine in Australia is very exciting. Through the University’s Giving Day, let’s work together for the development and promotion of Chinese medicine in Australia, and for a better human health!
