东奥克兰社区体育中心扩建项目说明会诚邀您参与

您好！

我诚挚地邀请您参加即将在 Howick Pakuranga 社区与体育中心（HPCSC） 举行的一场特别聚会。这是一个了解我们东奥克兰正在悄然发生的重要项目的绝佳机会，而我本人也有幸参与其中。

一个不断发展的社区枢纽

HPCSC 目前已经成为超过 4,000 名参与各类体育和社区活动人士的聚集地，涵盖羽毛球、橄榄球、篮球、棒球、网球、触式橄榄球、美式足球等项目。这是一个集运动、健康与社区联结于一体的活力空间。

随着本地人口不断增长，中心正积极筹划进行重大扩建，以满足日益增长的高质量设施需求。

全新扩建计划将使体育馆面积扩大一倍，新增设施包括：

• 17 个羽毛球场地

• 多功能场馆（可用于篮球、网球、排球等）

• 商业健身房及面向社区开放的多功能教室

项目建成后，中心每年将迎来超过 30 万人次的访问，致力于推动全民健康、包容性发展和积极生活方式，服务各年龄层、各背景人士。

Dear Distinguished Guest,

I’m reaching out to personally invite you to a special gathering at the Howick Pakuranga Community & Sports Centre (HPCSC)—a chance to hear about an exciting project that’s quietly transforming community life here in East Auckland and that I’m connected with.

A Growing Hub for Our Community

The HPCSC has become home to more than 4,000 people involved in a wide range of sports and community activities—including badminton, rugby, basketball, baseball, netball, touch, and American football. It’s a place where sport, wellbeing, and connection thrive under one roof.

With our local population continuing to grow, the Centre is now preparing for a major expansion to meet the increasing need for accessible, high-quality facilities.

The new facilities will double the size of our gymnasium and provide:

• 17 badminton courts
• Multi-use courts for basketball, netball, volleyball, and more
• Introduce a commercial gym and studio spaces for community use

Once completed, the expanded Centre will welcome more than 300,000 visitors annually, supporting health, inclusion, and active living across all ages and backgrounds.

How You Can Be Part of It

To date, over $9.5 million has been raised through local fundraising and Auckland Council support. We are now working to secure the final $4 million needed to begin construction.

This gathering is simply a chance to connect, hear more, and explore how friends and community members like yourself might want to be involved—whether by sharing the story, opening doors, or supporting in your own way.

There’s no pressure or expectation—just a warm welcome and an open invitation to be part of something that’s going to make a real difference in East Auckland.
